The Rose family is so adorable! I was originally supposed to photograph the Rose family during my mini shoots two weeks ago, but Hattie, their daughter, fell and had to get stitches in her chin on their way to their photoshoot and ended up in the ER! What luck! I am glad I was finally able to photograph the Rose family. We headed out to Rosland Park in Edina. Ryder, Hattie, Porter, and Oscar did such a great job! The Rose family is fostering Oscar, so they wanted to make sure to get some pictures with him. Isn't he just the cutest?! I just love everyone's smiles! Enjoy!

I had such a great time photographing the Hynes family! It is amazing how much changes in a year. I photographed the Hynes family about this same time last year and wow - Berkeley sure has grown! We headed out to Millennium Gardens in Plymouth - always a favorite of mine. It must have been a popular time and spot because there were at least 5 other photoshoots going on while we were there. For being 16 months old, Berkeley did such a good job! I cannot get over those stunning eyes! Enjoy!
I loved getting together with the Minich family and was so happy when Janelle contacted me to do another photoshoot. We had gotten together last year to do some shots around the holiday season, so it was great to get to experience a fall session with them! We headed to Cleary Lake Regional Park in Prior Lake. We were lucky with a beautiful scenic bridge, great fall colors, and a pretty lake to use as backdrops! Their dogs, Sydney and Ellie are the best. Sydney is 13 and such a good girl! And then there is Ellie - the spunky one year old. Last time I saw Ellie, they had just gotten her so I loved seeing that transformation. Enjoy!
On Tuesday, I had a great time photographing the Iverson family. We headed out to Fish Lake Park in Maple Grove. I know Jennifer from our volunteer work from Autism Speaks, but I have never met her family before. It was so fun getting to know them! Her boys are so sweet! We had a beautiful night with some nice sun (which hadn't been out for a long time!). When the sun went down, it was pretty chilly and WINDY - but they were all troopers! Enjoy!
On Sunday morning, I woke up, got ready, and went downstairs only to find SNOW on the ground! There was no snow in the forecast and no warning, so we were super surprised (and a little excited)! We headed out to Bryant Lake Park in Eden Prairie and even though we got SOAKED, we had a pretty good time! Exactly one year ago, I took pictures of Aubrey, Dan, and Sadie. It is amazing what changes in one year! Enjoy!
Yesterday, I had a session with the Thompson Family! We headed out on a brisk morning to the Lowry Nature Center. It was beautiful and the sun even came out! Oliver was not having the camera, but when we turned his Monkey song on, he gave us some adorable smirks! I really enjoyed working with Chris, Jenna, and Oliver! They live in my neighborhood, so it was nice getting to finally know someone since we have only been in our new house for 2 months! Enjoy!
When my cousin Angie asked me to be a part of her "Pictures in the Park" event, I was excited! Angie and her husband own a mortgage business and wanted to hold an event where their clients could get FREE pictures taken! How awesome that?! There was also another photographer there because they had about 40 different families come through - I enjoyed getting to know Danie of Bella Solle Photography! It was a great event with a food truck, yard games, and of course - pictures!
We had an interesting start to the Mackinnon family session! There was no rain in the forecast or radar for at least another couple hours, and then all of a sudden, on our way to the shoot, it starts misting! We decided to stick it out and push through - Judd, Annie, Emma, and Luke were such TROOPERS! You would never be able to tell that it was misting for pretty much the entire session because they look AMAZING and how can you beat those smiles?! We headed to Rosland Park in Edina for their session and took advantage of some beautiful color. Enjoy!
On Sunday, I got together with the Tompt-Barrick family for a fun session! I photography these guys A LOT (which I love!) and we go to the same park in Edina often - Rosland Park. We ventured to this park again, however, this is the first time we went to the opposite side of the park and it was like a completely new place! It was beautiful and you could see that the leaves are starting to change! I love seeing these guys and their smiling faces every time we get together. My favorite part is watching Jayde, Nora, and Gwen grow through the photographs! Enjoy!
I had a great session with Cole at Westwood Hills Nature Center in St. Louis Park. This is the first time I have been to Westwood Hills Nature Center and it was beautiful - perfect for a senior session! Cole wanted a quick and simple session. He is graduating from Edina High School this spring, but now is the perfect time to get senior pictures done! It was fun getting to know him and his mom, Sue! Cole did such a great job (even though he didn't feel like it)! I really enjoyed editing his pictures. Enjoy!
