I had a great time photographing the Nelson family! I have gotten to know the family and Loki and Palmer (the dogs) because they live in my neighborhood and our dogs frequently play together! We headed to the downtown Carver area and found a nice wooded trail along Carver Creek and then headed up to the other side of downtown to another trail. It was a great morning for photos and the sun was shining! The dogs did such a great job looking at the camera! Enjoy!

On Sunday, I had a session with the Thompson Family. We headed to Lake Ann Park in Chanhassen. It was such a beautiful morning - especially compared to the rainy day before! This was my third time photographing the Thompson family, so I have had a lot of fun watching the kids grow up! I cannot believe Parker is already 8 months old! It felt like just yesterday I was doing her newborn pictures! Time flies! The Thompsons did such a good job with the session, especially Oliver (a little playground bribing seemed to do the trick!) ;) Enjoy!
On Saturday, I had the honor of photographing a very special proposal - my brother's! We took a trip with our significant others to Duluth, MN for the weekend. Little did Emily know, there was a surprise waiting for her. For the proposal, we headed to Tettegouche State Park and hiked to the tallest waterfall within the state lines! It was quite a hike to get there (and back) with lots of stairs, but it was definitely worth it! It ended up being a beautiful day and a lovely proposal. We also stopped at Palisade Head on our way back to Duluth - what great views! Enjoy!
